Today marked the beginning of a new academic journey at Holy Child School as we welcomed our new students and their families to the 2025-26 session. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, warmth, and a touch of tradition.
Our new students were given a warm and traditional welcome with a Tika Ceremony, where a vermilion tilak was applied on their foreheads, symbolizing good luck, prosperity, and a blessing for the new academic year. Each student was also presented with a Welcome Badge, adorned with the school's logo, serving as a reminder of their new affiliation.
To help our new students settle in and feel comfortable, we organized a range of fun and engaging ice-breaking activities. These included:
- Circle Time: A "Memory Game" activity that encouraged students to interact with each other while developing their observation and memory skills.
- Classroom Orientation: Students were introduced to their classrooms, where they met their teachers and classmates, and familiarized themselves with the classroom environment.
We are thrilled to have our new students on board and look forward to witnessing their growth and achievements throughout the year!
