Closure of CBSE Cluster-19 Kho-Kho Championship at Holy Child School
The four-day CBSE Cluster-19 Kho-Kho Championship (Girls) held at Holy Child School from September 24 to 27, 2024, concluded today amidst immense enthusiasm and excitement. The closing ceremony was inaugurated by esteemed guests Mr. Nagendra Sharma (Sports Officer and Secretary, Sports Council, Kumaun University, Nainital, and President, District Olympic Association, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand) and Mr. Rahul Chand (Director, The Medicity Hospital, Rudrapur).

The program progressed with a captivating drill presentation by students of G.D. Goenka School, Dibdiba, using colorful umbrellas and fans. This was followed by a mesmerizing Rajasthani folk dance performance by students of Sarvasanskriti School, Bilaspur, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan.
Finally, students of Holy Child School presented a heartrending program through song, dance, and drama, conveying the message of 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' (Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter). This emotional performance left everyone spellbound.
Chief Guest Mr. Nagendra Sharma, in his address, congratulated the management of Holy Child School on the resounding success of the four-day Cluster-19 Kho-Kho Championship. He encouraged the participating students to engage in sports aligned with their interests, which fosters physical and mental development.
He emphasized that all schools should prioritize both mental and physical growth of children, promoting overall development.
