It is again a proud moment for Holy Child School to share that SHAGUN SINGH of XI SCIENCE was selected by Talent Identification Team of India Competition 2023. This Sports Camp was held from 20th June 2023 to 6th July 2023 in SPORTS AUTHORITY CENTRE of EXCELLENCE, LUCKNOW. Shagun was ONE among the 12 students selected from the State of Uttarakhand for this National Talent Identification Programme which lasted for fifteen days. As shared by Shagun,students were given rigorous training on speed reaction, balancing drills, endurance, flexibility, strength and coordination. Vigorous practices in strict daily routine were done of all sports activities. She appreciated the great team work, good diet, discipline, passionate caring and sharing. The students got an opportunity to interact with some Olympians and Asian Games Player like J S Bhatia, Dronacharya Awardee. The Camp was SPONSORED by Govt. of India. If SELECTED Shagun will get TRAINING for EIGHT YEARS under SPORTS AUTHORITY INDIA for the upcoming OLYMPICS. Shagun has come back highly motivated and is eager to guide her schoolmates.
